Most experts suggest that we should ideally get about 8 hours of sleep per night. Of course I recognize that many of you struggle to average 7 so that’s where we set the bar for the February Challenge. Keep in mind that the more active you are, the more sleep you probably need. You actually can make up your sleep debt over the course of a week. In other words if you get 6 hours one night but 8 the next…your health probably won’t be compromised. However, if you consistently cheat your sleep you will experience some negative health effects.
