You have 2 days left to get ready and I’d love to know what you are doing to prepare. I know some of you are planning a “naughty Sunday”. That’s not such a bad idea. Here are some other things you might want to try:
First, it would be helpful if you got the junk food out of your house. Of course there are a few different ways to approach this task.
- You could eat it all over the weekend…that could be fun
- You could have some friends over and feed it to them
- You could throw it out…I’m not kidding and no one in a third world nation will ever know or suffer as a result
- You could give it away
The point is, get rid of it somehow. And then watch how many times you walk into the kitchen and open the cupboards looking for something that isn’t there…you’ll do it over and over again. It’ll teach you something about yourself.
Once the bad stuff is gone, head to the grocery store and buy the good stuff. Tons of veggies and fruit. I highly recommend buying bags of frozen blueberries and raspberries…just thaw them a little and add to yogurt + a little granola 🙂
And finally, go shopping. Buy a little food journal; buy a cool bottle to drink your water out of; buy new running shoes, etc… anythng that will help psyche you up is a good investment. How about one of those new ipods? 🙂
